California has some of the most expensive real estate in the U.S.
In 2010, there was one real estate agent for every 48 Californians over the age of 25, with slightly more than 479,000 licensed agents in total, according to the 'Orange County Register.' Of course, not all of these licensees practice real estate, leaving lots of room for new agents. If you are thinking of becoming a real estate agent in California, you need to meet certain requirements. Although the process may seem like it will be lengthy, if you apply yourself diligently to the education portion, you can be licensed and listing and selling homes within a few months."
